With my ego shattered to pieces, I stood up and move the bike to the sidewalk. When I look down I saw that the rear derailleur was not attached to the bike and the chain was dragging down on the floor. I could not ride the bike and therefore my MS Brissie to Bay ended up some 600 metres from the finishing line. Well… better luck next year.
